I will work on that JUST FOR YOU, anon :)
It will take me a while (I’m taking summer classes, and I’m typing lots of people). It’s funny, I was just looking at some of the websites that do celebrity typing like this one, so horrible, it made me shutter. A lot of it was just team cheering.
It’s a shame. Jung’s types are not “teams,” they are just archetypes. Jung took the time to look into those archetypes in depth.
He would just observe, for example, an ISTPs behavior, and seek to understand the underlying reasons for their behavior and discover the components of their perspective. His observations are just a type’s extraverted manifestation of their brain orientation.
He just organized it all. That’s all he did. He just took a bunch of information that was already there, and organized it.
Edit: Oops! Anna Wintour? I have no idea, prolly some sort of NT, Beyonce is an ESTJ and Gaga is an INTP.
No, but you’re very close to it!
(Also, assuming you are actually an INTP. The ESTJ’s polar opposite is the INFP, which you very well might be, I can’t know without analyzing you.)
The INTP’s polar opposite is an ESFJ.
The INTP’s reversed and inverted opposite is the ISFP.
For reference:
INTP: Ti Ne Si Fe
ESTJ: Te Si Ne Fi
ESFJ: Fe Si Ne Ti
ISFP: Fi Se Ni Te
It is easy to respect someone who has your inverted dominant function (Ti/Te). The INTP’s best type match-up is the ESTJ with 2nd place going to ENTJ. (ENTJs are better off with ISTPs, functionally.)
It is in light of this evidence that I am skeptical that you are INTP and not INFP. Taking a quick skim over your type-related posts, my hunch seems to be supported. You may actually be an Fi dominant, who would find a Te dominant, E_TJ, to be their total opposite.
I often find F men who think they’re T men and T women who think they’re F women. There is nothing unmanly about being an F guy. Seriously, so many of the romantic leading men in chick flicks are F guys who sweep girls off their feet. (Such as Will Smith’s “Hitched” character.) F doesn’t denote a lack of manliness. Don’t forget that.
