Q:I have an ENFJ personality. When I first saw that I was a little amazed at how exactly it fit me. I was thinking about the manipulative part. I read online that ENFJ's can be very manipulative. Does that make us mean? and if so doesn't that contradict everything else? I personally don't think I'm mean, but I have met some ENFJ's that are kinda scary. Does that have more to do with how you are raised? Or did they just take the test wrong?

Every personality has its weaknesses. It’s just a matter if you make yourself grow into a better person, or let your weaknesses take over. I’m sure in every personality type there’s really nice people, and people that turn out to be really mean. It probably does have to do with how you are raised and things that have happened in your life to make you who you are. But I personally think it’s up to the individual to make themselves a better person. It’s kind of like getting in shape in my opinion. You can be lazy, and not eat right, and gain a ton of weight, or you can decide that you wanna get healthy, so you eat the right things and work out. If you focus on your strengths and develop them to make you a better person, and recognize your weaknesses and try to fix them, you’ll come about a better person then the ones who don’t care, and don’t try to make themselves better.

So you didn’t take the test wrong. If you think ENFJ describes you, then you’re an ENFJ, but you can be a much “better” ENFJ than those who have let their weaknesses become dominant in their personality. Does that make any sense? Well I hope it helps :)
