I will work on that JUST FOR YOU, anon :)
It will take me a while (I’m taking summer classes, and I’m typing lots of people). It’s funny, I was just looking at some of the websites that do celebrity typing like this one, so horrible, it made me shutter. A lot of it was just team cheering.
It’s a shame. Jung’s types are not “teams,” they are just archetypes. Jung took the time to look into those archetypes in depth.
He would just observe, for example, an ISTPs behavior, and seek to understand the underlying reasons for their behavior and discover the components of their perspective. His observations are just a type’s extraverted manifestation of their brain orientation.
He just organized it all. That’s all he did. He just took a bunch of information that was already there, and organized it.
Edit: Oops! Anna Wintour? I have no idea, prolly some sort of NT, Beyonce is an ESTJ and Gaga is an INTP.
Approximately 23% of the United States population. This includes types with Ti (introverted thinking) as their second function.
Dr. Gregory House, House, MD
Toph Bei Fong, Avatar: The Last Airbender
Kevin, O’Grady
The evidence:
- mostly image posts (extraverted function first).
- text posts are not yours, but someone else’s, and your response to their post is usually in gif form, or limited to a sentence or two (again, suggesting an extraverted function first).
- the food and sexual content suggest Extraverted Sensation (Se).
- reblogging posts that emphasize the “journey” not the “destination” suggests Introverted Thinking (Ti).
- being startled/”mind fucked” by the post “Today is the oldest you’ve ever been, and the youngest you’ll ever be again,” suggests inferior Introverted Intuition (Ni).
points to ESTP, though I can see how you could test, INTP.
- The E/I dichotomy towards introversion can be explained by “not being a people person.” It’s a common misconception. It isn’t extraverts who are “people people,” it’s feelers. Thinkers are more interested in things. ESTPs and INTPs both have Ti in common:
ESTP: Se Ti Fe Ni
INTP: Ti Ne Si Fe
Edit: I messed up the functions for INTP. It’s not Ni, but Ne. Thanks, for the people who pointed it out!
